Monmouth County Habitat for Humanity Welcomes Meredith Darche as New Executive Director

February 21, 2025, Monmouth County, NJ:  Monmouth County Habitat for Humanity (MCHFH) is delighted to announce the appointment of Meredith Darche as its new Executive Director, effective February 10, 2025.

Darche brings over 15 years of leadership experience in strategic financial management, donor engagement, and nonprofit development, positioning her as a transformative leader for MCHFH as it embarks on new growth initiatives and community-driven projects.

With a distinguished career in nonprofit leadership, Darche has successfully developed and executed fundraising strategies that have generated substantial support for mission-driven organizations.

Prior to joining MCHFH, she served as Vice President of Development & Board Liaison at The Mission Continues, where she led fundraising efforts that secured over $97 million in total revenue, including a game-changing $10 million gift. She also played a key role in increasing corporate and foundation partnerships during her tenure at KABOOM!, where she expanded revenue streams and strengthened donor relationships.

“Meredith’s leadership, vision, and extensive experience in nonprofit development make her the perfect fit for our organization,” said Kim Stulb, Board President and member of the search committee. “Her passion for community engagement and strategic fundraising will be instrumental in driving Monmouth County Habitat for Humanity forward and expanding our impact in the county.”

Darche’s expertise in fundraising, community development, and volunteer engagement aligns seamlessly with MCHFH’s mission of building homes, communities, and hope. Her leadership will be instrumental in advancing key initiatives, strengthening community partnerships, and enhancing Habitat’s volunteer and donor engagement efforts.

“I am honored to join Monmouth County Habitat for Humanity and to work alongside the dedicated staff, volunteers, and supporters who make affordable homeownership a reality for families in our community,” said Darche. “Together, we will continue to expand our impact and create opportunities for more families to build a better future.”

As MCHFH continues its commitment to addressing housing needs in Monmouth County, Darche’s leadership will play a vital role in driving forward the organization’s mission and expanding its reach.
