Our Programs Build Strength, Stability, and Shelter.

Thank you for your interest in Monmouth County Habitat for Humanity.

We are currently accepting pre-qualification forms for housing and services. However, between December 16, 2024, and January 6, 2025, we will not be reviewing homeownership applications or making housing and service determinations. You may submit the forms online during this period, and we will contact you after January 6, 2025.

We are now accepting applications for future homes in Monmouth County. We recently broke ground on a two-family house in Fair Haven and will build Eatontown and Wall in 2025.

If you are interested in applying for a new home, or need services in connection with our “L.I.F.T. (Local Initiative for Troops) Veteran Home Repairs”, “A Brush with Kindness” or “Ramps and Rails” programs, please complete and submit the pre-qualification form.  We will acknowledge the receipt of these forms, conduct an initial review of your request, and keep your information on file if you meet the basic initial requirements.

Please contact Marianne Herring for more information at mherring@monmouthhabitat.org, or call 732-728-0441, ext. 311. Please note that Marianne will not be available between December 16, 2024, and January 6, 2025.

Programs

Monmouth County Habitat for Humanity provides diverse programming to support eligible homeowners throughout our service area.

Affordable Homeownership

We partner with eligible families to support opportunities to achieve the dream of homeownership.

L.I.F.T. Home Repairs Program

Our L.I.F.T. (Local Initiative for Troops) program completes veteran home repair and home upkeep projects at no cost to the eligible veteran.

A Brush with Kindness

A Brush with Kindness is an effort to serve low-income homeowners who struggle to maintain the exterior of their homes. Habitat provides minor exterior maintenance and small yard clean-ups.

Ramps & Rails

Through Ramps & Rails, Habitat assists elderly and disabled homeowners with wheelchair ramps that are attached to the home. The homeowner is usually required to pay for 10-20% of the final costs of the project, depending on their income. Eligible Veterans will not be asked to pay a portion of the project costs.
