Diane Kinnane Announces Retirement as Executive Director of Monmouth County Habitat for Humanity
February 7, 2025, Monmouth County, NJ: Monmouth County Habitat for Humanity announces the upcoming retirement of Diane Kinnane, who has served as Executive Director since 2017. Diane’s last day will be March 1st, marking the end of an impactful and transformative era for the organization.

Since joining Monmouth County Habitat for Humanity, Diane has been a steadfast advocate for affordable housing, overseeing the completion of 12 homes for local families, with four additional homes currently in the pipeline. Her leadership has strengthened the organization’s capacity to address the growing need for affordable homeownership in the community.”

Her legacy will continue to inspire us in the years to come.”
Diane’s tenure was marked by significant milestones, including navigating the challenges of merging two Habitat affiliates in 2024 to create a stronger, unified organization. While this transition presented obstacles, her guidance and knowledge, particularly in the affordable housing realm, ensured the organization emerged more resilient and better positioned to serve the community.
As Diane steps down, Monmouth County Habitat for Humanity welcomes Meredith Darche as the incoming Executive Director. Meredith brings a wealth of experience in nonprofit management, most recently with The Mission Continues, a national nonprofit organization serving veterans, and shares a strong commitment to the Habitat mission.
