11th Annual Golf for Homes Outing a Success!

Atlantic Highland, NJ: On Monday, August 8, 2022, Habitat for Humanity in Monmouth County is pleased to announce that our annual “Golf for Homes” outing was a success.

Now in its 11th year, the tournament was held for a 2nd consecutive year at Beacon Hill Country Club, and drew 84 golfers and 24 sponsors, including first time Tournament Sponsor, Bogota Savings Bank Charitable Foundation.

The day kicked off with a buffet lunch, followed by 18 holes of golf, cocktails, dinner, a silent auction and 50/50 raffle. We were delighted to honor the Borough of Atlantic Highlands during dinner, to thank them for their support of our mission to build homes, community and hope. Mayor Loretta Gluckstein, Borough Administrator Robert Ferragina, and Council Members, Brian Dougherty and Lori Hohenleitner were in attendance.

The outing raised over $20,000 which will go towards the building of affordable houses and supporting our “Aging in Place” programs which provide seniors with security and independence in their homes.

“The annual Golf for Homes outing has grown to be an anticipated annual event where we can celebrate our honorees, connect with supporters and highlight the need for affordable housing in our community.” said Board President, Kim Stulb. “We are so grateful for the generosity of all those who participated to make the day a success.”

Our sincere thanks go to everyone who joined us on the day: golfers, sponsors, volunteers, and our dedicated Golf Committee and Board of Trustees.
