L.I.F.T. (Local Initiative for Troops)

The L.I.F.T. home repair program serves eligible Veterans and their families in Monmouth County. Driven by volunteer power, donations, and fundraising events, the program completes home repair and home upkeep projects at no cost to the Veteran.

Types of Projects

Even minor projects can be overwhelming and costly to a veteran homeowner with a low or fixed income. The L.I.F.T. program can relieve concerns, and remedy safety and comfort issues.

Our LIFT program offers free home repairs that help local Veterans live safely and with dignity. Through this program, we have completed many projects, which included installing handicap ramps and rails, roof repairs and replacements, railing and stair repairs, HVAC upgrades, grab bar installations, widening walkways, yard cleanup, and much more.
