Thank you to our 2024 Golf for Homes Sponsors!
Thank you to everyone who joined us at our 13th Annual Golf for Homes Outing!
Thank you to everyone who joined us for our 13th Annual Golf for Homes outing at the beautiful Beacon Hill Country Club on Monday. It was a scorcher but we had a great day! The generosity of our golfers, sponsors, silent auction donors, volunteers, board, and golf committee allows us to build affordable houses for hardworking families. We are thankful for all your support.
This year was extra special, marking our first event as a merged organization.
Our honorees from Brookdale Community College: Dr. David Stout, Tracey Abby White, Pam Major, Jackeline Mejias Fuertes, Michelle Zuppe, and Chris Carroll joined us for dinner. Brookdale has been invaluable to our mission of providing affordable housing and building stronger communities.
We are blessed to have so many amazing partners on this journey. Together, we’re transforming lives and building a stronger, more compassionate community!
Once again, special thanks to photographer John Vitollo for sharing his time and talent to support our mission. View the complete album here: Golf for Homes 2024
Honoring Brookdale Community College
We were proud to honor Brookdale Community College, led by esteemed President David Stout, and are thankful for Brookdale’s exceptional support of our mission and community. The college has been an outstanding partner, offering invaluable educational resources, grant-funded classes, and crucial assistance with our Annual Volunteer Appreciation Dinner through their Culinary Arts program.
Golf for Homes is one of our major fundraising events supporting our programs: Affordable Homeownership, Veterans Build Home Repairs Program, and our Aging in Place program which consists of our Ramps & Rails and A Brush With Kindness programs.
While you may be most familiar with the new homes we build, your support also has a tremendous impact on Veterans, and those affected by age or disability, allowing them to live safely in their own homes, through our Veterans Build and Aging in Place programs. These programs include the construction of wheelchair ramps and rails, minor interior and exterior repairs, and yard cleanups.
Over the past year, we have completed our 61st house for a deserving family, built 7 wheelchair ramps for seniors, and completed 9 A Brush with Kindness projects, 6 Veteran Build home repairs, and 2 new roofs for Veterans. We look forward to breaking ground on our 62nd home.
Thank you for your generosity and your support!
Plans for the upcoming year include the construction of an affordable home in Eatontown, an affordable home in Fair Haven, Veterans Build home repairs projects, as well as a continuation of our Ramps & Rails and A Brush with Kindness projects to provide low and fixed-income elderly and disabled homeowners with stability and security in their homes.
