About the Handy Andy Program
Handy Andy is a volunteer handyman service designed to assist Monmouth County residents aged 60 and older in aging gracefully in their own homes.
Recognizing that many seniors face challenges in finding reliable repair services for small home maintenance issues that are both safe and affordable, Monmouth County Habitat offers a free handyman service to seniors in the county.
Seniors can call us when they need assistance with minor repairs, and we will coordinate with a volunteer to visit their home. The program is open to homeowners and renters, if the landlord is not responsible for the repair.
Please note that applicants will be responsible for purchasing materials needed for the repairs.
There are no income requirements to be a recipient of the Handy Andy program in Monmouth County.
