ReStores

About the Monmouth County ReStores

Our ReStores play a vital role in supporting Monmouth County Habitat for Humanity’s mission to build homes, neighborhoods, and hope. Thanks to the generosity of our donors, we offer high-quality furniture, lighting, décor, appliances, building materials, and much more. These desirable items are sold to the public at a fraction of their original retail price – and every purchase directly funds our affordable housing programs.

Our ReStores are more than just shops — they’re community hubs that help people create welcoming, beautiful, and comfortable homes at budget-friendly prices.

By donating and shopping with us, our supporters champion sustainable retail. Reusing furniture, home goods, appliances, and building supplies not only reduces landfill waste but also lowers carbon emissions and gives gently used items a new life.

Together, we’re building homes – and a more sustainable future.

Shop at the ReStores

Monmouth County Habitat for Humanity ReStores are go-to destinations for quality used furniture, home goods, décor, and appliances. Designers, antique and vintage dealers, thrifters, and upcyclers all know our stores as treasure troves — full of unique finds at unbeatable prices.

In Asbury Park, you’ll find a curated and eclectic selection of home goods — perfect for furnishing shore homes or finding that one-of-a-kind piece. With furniture, lighting, artwork, and more, the inventory is always changing, making each visit a new adventure.

In addition to home goods and furniture, our Freehold ReStore includes a huge warehouse that is a one-stop home improvement store in central New Jersey for builders, contractors, home improvement companies, and DIYers. Shop with us for building materials ranging from windows to plumbing fixtures and everything in between.  Please note that the Freehold ReStore will be closing in early 2026 – the exact date has not yet been announced.

Inventory at both the Asbury Park and Freehold ReStores varies from day to day, but you can always count on finding gently used furniture, low-cost décor, tableware and glassware, appliances, artwork, and collectibles.

Rewards Program

Be sure to enroll in the free ReStore rewards program when you come into the ReStore. Earn 1 point for every dollar you spend — once you reach 300 points, you’ll receive a $10 reward to use on your next purchase. It’s easy to join: just ask any ReStore sales associate to sign you up during your visit. You can earn points at either store.

Sales and Discounts

Both ReStores offer frequent sales and special promotions. Stay up to date on the latest deals by following us on Facebook and Instagram, or by subscribing to our newsletter.

Donate to the ReStores

Habitat for Humanity ReStores are home improvement and resale stores that accept donations of new or gently used furniture, appliances, housewares, building materials, and more. The proceeds from these sales directly support Habitat’s mission to build homes and strengthen communities right here in Monmouth County.

Donating is easy!

Both the Freehold and Asbury Park ReStores offer free pickup for large-item donations. Smaller items can be dropped off at Asbury Park. The Freehold ReStore is no longer accepting drop-off donations.
